I was engaged to craft a visual identity for a new bakery business, Nutty Bakery. They are starting out with a single product (Walnut Parachutes, sort of like a macaroon) but will be expanding to different flavours/products within the next year. Since they are an entirely new company, it was very much a blank canvas.
Inspiration gathering via The Dieline and Behance, to get a sense for what the top confectionery and chocolate brands were doing visually. I also collected physical packaging samples from Toronto bakeries and dessert shops, especially those with a strong identity (Nadege, SOMA Chocolate, CXBO Chocolates) as well as international brands like Laura Secord, Merci and Manos de Cacao.
